40 years of incredible high-end art, 40 years of beauty, 40 years of a wonderful event-known world-wide! The Malibu Arts Festival promises to offer something for everyone. Celebrating its 40th year, the two-day weekend event will take place July 30-31, 10am-6pm, outside the Malibu Civic Center. Considered “one of the most beautiful outdoor art festivals in the nation,” the Malibu Arts Festival features award-winning painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers and other unique artisans. Festival goers can visit with the artists under individual gleaming white tents and learn about the creation of art in every genre. With the incredible collections of fine art and local musicians providing live entertainment…the Malibu Arts Festivals offers a vast selection of items to enhance any home or garden. Adding to the ambience is the day-long entertainment with sounds of local musicians. We are excited to announce a Wine Garden being held at the beautiful Legacy Park from 10am to 6pm. Sample wines from all over Malibu. Please, come and stroll the grounds sipping wine. The Malibu Chamber of Commerce produces this event, which showcases over 200 Fine Art Exhibits with original art from all over California, and showcasing members of the Chamber of Commerce in the Chamber Village area.
The Arts Festival has expanded the venue with an entertainment stage where original musicians perform each day, a children’s workshop where kids work with artists to create their own art, a dining terrace featuring exciting menu items with incredible cuisine, to stop for a ‘Taste of Malibu’ and music.
Come enjoy, international flavors, crepes, smoothies, funnel cakes, and homemade ice-cream sandwiches.
The Chamber invites everyone to be a part of this weekend-long event. Admission is free, so bring the whole family for a day of fine art, rockin’ music, and great food! The Malibu Arts Festival is held at Malibu Civic Center, 23555 Civic Center Way between Cross Creek and Webb Way off Pacific Coast Highway 1 in beautiful Malibu. There is ample parking for only $7.00 down the street.
